5 DIY Halloween Costumes

Anyone else glad that it’s almost Halloween?! I love dressing up, no matter how old I am! Every year I attempt to channel my inner 90’s or 80’s girl, for a little throw back costume. Each and every year I am *usually* able to DIY my own costume with the exception of purchasing one or two items.

This year was proving to be quite hard, because I simply could not decide on an idea. Normally I go out with a group of people, but this year the regulars are busy, so I am heading out with my co-teacher! She has decided to go the scary route, and I love dressing up super cute!! So needless to say, this year wouldn’t be themed but I still wanted to stick with what I love, anything from the 90’s and late 80’s.

Throughout the week I have come up with a list of 5 potential diy Halloween costumes, but here’s the kicker, which one did I choose?

  1. Patti Mayonnaise (from the tv show Doug)

Materials needed: navy blue skirt, pink and blue polka-dot top, blonde wig

5. Jem (from Jem and the Hollograms)

These are all fantastic options if I do say so myself, but I’m not letting the cat out of the bag just yet! Tell me your guesses in the comments below!
