Today is the first day of my new weekly series!!!! 7 things that made me smile! I am every excited! I know a lot of people say the word “happy” but in my eyes, I’m generally pretty happy so I decided to go with “smile”. So that being said, it was a pretty long week but in the midst of all the the chaos there were some pretty happy moments that I would like to share with you!

7 things that made me smile this week:

A co-worker told me she could tell I was losing weight!

I co-facilitated my group therapy session for my internship and kicked ass!

My grandmother is pain free (but still dying of cancer)

I got an A in my Ethics class!

I finally hit 2300 followers on Twitter!

I can start to see grass in my yard (but there is still snow)

Today is my second to last Saturday that I have to work!

I mean it!
I mean it!

I hope everyone had a fantastic week and if you didn’t I hope your weekend goes well!! This weekend I don’t have too much going on, getting a pizza tonight and working tomorrow. I do have a bit of blogging and school work to do. My newest class started this past week so I need to finish some stuff. It never ends, huh!?

What made you smile this week? What are your plans for the weekend?

Cheers!

xoxo Lindsay

It’s so important to be pain free with end of life care, I hope your Grandmother continues to get the right treatment and care xx

Yay for the small things being the big things we appreciate! I like the idea of reflecting on this each week.

Thank you so much, you’re so sweet. My back is feeling okay, but it’s probably all the ibuprofen I took.
