Can you believe it’s already day 4 of this 30 day challenge?! This week has been crazy but to be honest, knowing I have “this” to do, sorta keeps me moving. Today’s topic was originally about religion but I really hate talking about that, so I decided to change it to “my views on being a blogger.”

Being a blogger for the past 4 years has been challenging. Now that I have really started to put the time and effort into it, things are moving along nicely. But, boy is it hard work!!

No one tells you all the hard work you have to put into this when you start. Forget about the actual writing aspect for a moment, it’s all the OTHER stuff that goes along with it. The willingness to set schedules, to make friends with other blogs, to use ALL forms of social media. It’s basically a full-time job if you think about it.

So that being said-I LOVE it. Do I get frustrated with my numbers sometimes? Of course, when you are trying to reach a certain goal, you don’t want anything to stop you. It’s hard not to get wrapped up in the numbers game, something I’m trying to work on.

I think it’s been pretty awesome being a blogger and getting to know all these great blogs that are out there. I am really honored that people are actually visiting and reading what I have to say.

I hope you have a wonderful Saturday!!

Cheers!

xoxo Lindsay

I completely agree! Blogging is one of the most rewarding endeavors I have had in my life. I just never realized how much there actually was work wise to do with it. People who make fun of bloggers have no clue!

I feel like when you put in the time you really get results but it does take a lot of time.

I agree, the saying “Build it and they will come” does not exactly apply. Build it, write it, photo it, FB it, Insta it, Tweet it, + it, Stumble it, Pin it, then visit all the other bloggers that are doing the same thing, and then repeat every 24 hours! LOL Good luck and keep on keepin’ on!
