• Wanderlust in 2 days!!

I can’t believe that I am leaving for my European vacation in 2 days–this trip was booked back in January, so to say I have been waiting a while is an understatement. Just last night I finally started packing and trying to figure out what is going in my carryon. I have about 9hrs of travel time ahead of me on Thursday + one day….yikes! Since I have an overnight flight, I wanted to make sure that I was going to be as comfortable as possible. I’m hoping to catch some zzzzzz’s with my eye mask, neck pillow, and ear plugs. I’m debating on whether or not to bring a…

  • Wanderlust…66 days

I am beyond excited to share this post with you all, because I am finally entering the home stretch to a vacation of a life time–ROME & GREECE!! Yes, that’s right, in 66 days I am embarking on a trip to Rome and then a cruise to Greece for 8 days. I couldn’t even tell you the last time I took a “real” vacation, so this is going to be amazing. While I do plan on posting about my actual cruise, right now I am focused on some of what I plan on bringing and a few ideas of what I want to bring. Wanderlust in 66 days… So right…

  • Extracting my facial virginity

A couple of weeks ago, I embarked on something totally new to me. I teamed up with like-minded gal named Lindsay. While, teaming up with other ladies in the blog world isn’t new to me, this collaboration was one for the books. Let me introduce Lindsay Sullivan Skincare. It’s always nice when you have someone reach out to you, especially with the SAME name, and ask you to partner up on a couple of collaborations. Her name is Lindsay AND she’s into skincare, I signed right up. What I learned from Lindsay was that she is a makeup artist and certified skincare specialist. After chatting one day after work, we…

  • 10 things every woman should have

I am so excited to write this post and more importantly I’m excited that this idea came to me through Sheryl at How to Make a Life. One of my favorite things about my blogging groups is all the inspiration that comes out of them–this one in particularly. 10 things every woman should have: a great pair of sweats–I know this sounds kinda crazy but hear me out. I’m not talking about the ratty sweat pants we all have, I’m talking about a pair that you could run to the store in without looking like a homeless person. I’m seriously addicted to the PINK line at Victoria’s Secret–those are some…

  • 5 things no one tells you about dating

As I sit here enjoying a cup of coffee at almost 6pm, because I am SO exhausted from school work, moving, and DATING, it occurred to me that no one warns you about dating. Everyone says, just get out there, you’re great–yea yea yea…I’m flippin’ tired people!! So needless to say, yes I’ve been dating and trying to put myself out there, here are my conclusions. (I will apologize now if this post is a lot of ramble, I’m on about 5 hours of sleep) 5 things no one tells you about dating You need new clothes. I know this sounds like a no brainer but seriously you need new…

  • Update: Dairy Free for 6 months!

Hello there everyone–I can’t believe I am writing this post, mainly because I can’t believe how fast 6 months has gone by. It’s been just about 6 months since I gave up dairy and my boyfriend (haha). Needless to say I am 98% free of dairy and 100% free of him! Can you believe that I am still dairy free?! The 2% is the occasional mashed potato I have that I’m assuming has some butter in it, but for the most part my life consists of dairy substitutes and I couldn’t be happier. If you are reading this post and are confused, you can read my segway to being dairy…

  • Moving 101: My first place

I’m just going to apologize now for the amount of posts related to my new move, but I’m so friggen’ excited I can’t contain myself. So yes, this is my first place at 34 years old (I know, I know). So it occurred to me that maybe I should share some of my first place/moving tips with you guys, maybe some of you are moving or know someone who is! After I found MY place the first thing I would recommend is taking lots of pictures. I took quite a few but should have taken more, especially different nooks/angles so you can remember size information. If your new place has…
