• Review: Blow Pro Essentials

Many of you know that I was in love with Super Skinny by Paul Mitchel and then I really loved Bumble and Bumble Blow Dry. Well now, I’ve have moved on to Blow Pro Essentials, Ready Set Blow. The name suggests that it aids in blow drying but in my opinion it does soo much more! Here’s the skinny: Micro-heat conductors accelerate the drying process by optimizing the heat from your blow dryer. Significantly reduces drying time which means less stress and damage. Vitamin B energizes and revitalizes hair. Ready Set Blow’s co-polymer blend locks out humidity and smoothes each hair cuticle for long-lasting flexible style. What sets Blow Pro…

  • Unbagging: Ipsy January 2015

New year, new glambag from Ipsy. Yesterday I received my second Ipsy bag since subscribing. While it has been nice getting samples in the mail each month, I decided to unsubscribe for a little while. I tend to do that with these type of things. I used Birchbox for a few months and then again with Ipsy. I will say that out of the two, Ipsy is probably my favorite. I canceled for two reasons; one being the money and two I’m just about set with new makeup for awhile. If you wear it everyday I can see keeping the subscription but for someone like me it just goes unused.…

  • Unbagging: Ipsy December 2014

I have tried countless times to make a video of me unboxing my Birchbox and most recently subscribed glambag, Ipsy. After trying a few times I decided that blogging is just something I am a tad better at–so here we are. As I mentioned before I just recently started subscribing to Ipsy.  I was getting tired of Birchbox and their sample sizes left something to be discovered (no offense). Any who, yesterday my very first Ipsy glambag arrived in the most shiniest and pink bubble wrap package-it was amazeballs! I always cheat and look online ahead of time to see what I’m getting (I hate surprises), so basically I wasn’t…

  • Review: Davines Love Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner

Let me start by saying how much I love this line! After receiving both the shampoo and conditioner in my June Birchbox, I simply fell in love. Most samples don’t blow me away or give me much to try, this month it was different. Right now I’m using both products on days my hair has been exposed to the salt water from the beach or the chlorine from a pool. It really does a great job of restoring my hair’s moisture and its gentle enough for my color-treated hair. It’s definitely one of those products that after the first time you use it, especially the conditioner, you want more, immediately!

  • Review: Maybelline Define-A-Brow Eyebrow Pencil

I think the last time I wrote about eyebrow pencils was when I was using Anastasia brow wiz. Don’t get me wrong, I still really like Anastasia BUT I have found a cheaper version that I thought I would share with you guys. It’s no surprise how much I like using Maybelline products so when I ran out of Anastasia (quickly too might I add) I had to seek an alternative. There was no way I had another $20 to spend on just my eyebrows. So while shopping in CVS one day I decided to check out Maybelline, my favorite non-expensive makeup brand. Of course they had an eyebrow pencil…

  • Review: Anastasia Brow Wiz

Eyebrows, the topic of conversation one day at Sephora. Some of you might remember that I “over-plucked” my brows last year and if you were curious, yes they are STILL growing back in! While I’ve been tending to my brows, I’ve noticed that they are rather bushy and dull looking. I’ve been trying to shape them but it seemed they needed more while the rest of them grew in. It’s kinda like when your going through puberty and parts of you are changing but the rest hasn’t caught up. That was the dilemma I was facing and decided to seek help. So on that faithful day in Sephora I asked my…
