• Wanderlust in 2 days!!

I can’t believe that I am leaving for my European vacation in 2 days–this trip was booked back in January, so to say I have been waiting a while is an understatement. Just last night I finally started packing and trying to figure out what is going in my carryon. I have about 9hrs of travel time ahead of me on Thursday + one day….yikes! Since I have an overnight flight, I wanted to make sure that I was going to be as comfortable as possible. I’m hoping to catch some zzzzzz’s with my eye mask, neck pillow, and ear plugs. I’m debating on whether or not to bring a…

  • Wanderlust…66 days

I am beyond excited to share this post with you all, because I am finally entering the home stretch to a vacation of a life time–ROME & GREECE!! Yes, that’s right, in 66 days I am embarking on a trip to Rome and then a cruise to Greece for 8 days. I couldn’t even tell you the last time I took a “real” vacation, so this is going to be amazing. While I do plan on posting about my actual cruise, right now I am focused on some of what I plan on bringing and a few ideas of what I want to bring. Wanderlust in 66 days… So right…

  • 5 Reasons to visit Munich

Happy Saturday lovelies! I hope your weekend is off to a great start. This morning on the blog we have Amanda from J to Z here with us to tell us ALL the wonderful things Germany has to offer.  I am thrilled to have her here this morning because I love travel and I have always wanted to visit Germany!! Germany is seriously underrated in the tourism department. I feel like there is this weird idea that Greece, Italy, and France are all more “exotic” than the other European countries. And not that France isn’t lovely… it is. But I don’t know why places like Germany and Austria ( and many others I am sure)…

  • 24 hours in the Eternal City

Continuing on my travels, I had a day in Rome in the summer. Not a lot of time to explore, but you can certainly pack it in…here’s how. Rome wasn’t built in a day, but that’s no surprise. It takes time to create great things and Rome is truly a great…

  • 5 Things to Consider When Buying a Property in Turkey

Turkey? No, I’m not talking about the kind we eat on Thanksgiving. The country of Turkey didn’t really stand out to me before doing a bit of research on it but for those of you with a geological brain fart, Turkey is surrounded by Iran, Iraq, Syria, Bulgaria, Greece, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. So why am I writing about Turkey? A country that I have never visited before. Well I’ll tell you. It all started after my cousin and I were chatting about taking vacations. He mentioned that him and his wife were considering buying property in Turkey. I was like, why Turkey? He then went on to explain how easy…

  • A Fashionable Tale of Three Cities

For Fashionista’s, ’tis the season to be jolly as the second part of the year’s trend calendar turns off the lights after its monumental line up of September events. All across the globe, the skinny and the striking romped and strutted down the runways in ruffles and ruches that broke the boundaries of creativity. On the streets of Europe, an aesthetic change began as the stylish flooded the cities with their interpretations of the month’s proceedings. The Capitals are never the same after fashion week. Your Thomson holiday will open the door to a style extravaganza that will soon leak into your own home town. Milan’s runways crawled with Fifties Hitchcock Heroines.…
