We are about a week or so into the month of June and I have been trying really hard to get motivated with my fitness goals as well as school goals. Things have been rough the past month or so when I started taking two classes, I think I mentioned before that I feel as though I am drowning. After cutting a few things out of my life, I finally feel like I can breathe again. So that being said I have a few motivational goals that I would like to share with you today.
June Motivation Goals:
Keeping school work organized
I’ve never had a problem being organized but two classes are a lot of work, especially when you work full-time. I was feeling overwhelmed and decided to take it to my phone. I downloaded a planning app and it lets me schedule my stuff out only in a few day increments. Also, because it’s on my phone I am seeing it all the time. I don’t have the money for a fancy planner so I figured this would help for the time being. So far it’s working. I feel a bit better about my huge work load.
Getting back into shape
This has been a killer. I was doing really good there for a while, but once classes started I cut way back because of no time. I actually canceled my gym membership because I hadn’t been in months. This month however I am determined to get back at it by walking around my neighborhood. I am also involved in a plank challenge that has been keeping me pretty focused as well. I am in a wedding in August, I HAVE to be able to fit in my dress still by then, so I really have no time to slack. My boyfriend also wants to eat better and get back into shape, so I think we will be working together to accomplish this. I plan on setting up a menu for him (since he’s in NJ) so that he can have his meals already figured out for the week.
For awhile there I was on a serious role and was posting like a mad woman. I feel terrible that barely have anything written anymore but like I mentioned before, school is kicking my ass. I am going to try harder to juggle everything and work on this blog more when I find myself with some free time. Instead of watching TV I really should be writing.
