Mental Health Awareness

I can’t believe it’s already April! Once again this year is flying by, the fact that March is over, is totally shocking because usually March drags. Things are probably flying around here for me due to all of the changes. Some of you know that I started a new job and that is going “okay”, still too early to really tell to be honest. April is already proving to be busy and in May I like to start focusing on my mental health and making sure that I am taking care of myself.

One of the biggest changes that I am now making is probably my commute into work. I have a longer drive and lets be honest, a little bit of road rage at times. Lets face it, we’ve all been “that person” on the road, but sometimes, that can extend beyond a simple mistake accounted for and instead turn into something quite nasty. This can happen to you even if you’re in the right.

Being in the car for longer periods of time and leaving my car in different places has me thinking about dash cams and potentially grabbing one so that I can keep an eye on things. I’ll never forget watching a dash cam video of men at a car wash who were going through a persons car! You can find these excellent products with BBMC, because getting set up well is the most important thing.

Now that I am driving more for work, it’s nice to take a break on the weekends and have Brian drive. We are planning a trip to Boston with the kids soon, so that will be a day that we both share the heavy lifting when it comes to driving long distances. May is mental health awareness month, so it’s always good to start planning out what you want to focus on, because taking care of ourselves first, is SO important!
