I haven’t loved a lip balm/lip gloss this much in a long time. If you have cable, you’ve seen the advertisements for Baby Lips. Some of you might be wondering why I’ve taken this long to try out the product, well I’ll tell you why. First of all, I wasn’t sure how much it cost and I wasn’t about to drop over $3 on lip balm, when the CVS brand had been treating me right all these years. Second, I wasn’t exactly sure if it was a lip gloss or a lip balm. If your like me and addicted to using lip balm or chap stick, you know how important finding a good one is.
Well on a trip to Target (one of my favorite stores) I happened to be in the makeup aisle and I also happened to be out of chap stick. So naturally I decided to check out what Baby Lips was all about. It cost me about $2 if I remember correctly (which isn’t terrible) and it also comes in a few different color options. I opted for Peach which I was hoping would just give me a good glow.
I WAS RIGHT! This stuff is amazing! Not only does it moisturize but I do indeed have a glow with the Peach. I’m not entirely sure about the other colors but I do know they make a clear, if you are worried about color. I have a fair complexion so I would defiantly recommend the Peach.
Here’s the skinny:
No more basic lip balm
- The secret: Exclusive lip renew formula
- Protects and moisturizes for a full 8 hours
- After 1 week*, lips are visibly renewed, virtually reborn
- 6 varieties
*Based on panelists’ self-evaluation
So the bottom line is that this is my new go-to chap stick/lip balm/lip gloss. I will add however that I have had trouble finding it at Walmart. I would stick to Target and CVS.
