I love trying out new beauty products. It can often be hard to find new items without spending a fortune on regular sized products. The travel section of stores is often limited to when it comes to different brand. We have discovered some not-so secrets when it comes to trying out new products.

The first being Birchbox. This is a one of a kind service that actually sends you a customized box once a month for $10. This could be filled with anything ranging from food samples to skin care. You will be able to customize your Birchbox profile to exact what you want. We were using it regularly but took a break earlier this month.

Secondly there is Ipsy. Similar to Birchbox but each month you will receive your items in a makeup bag. Makeup is what Ipsy prides themselves on. We haven’t tried this yet but it’s on the back burner.

Any nail polish fans out there? Julep is a nail polish only site that will send out a box of colors each month. This sounds great, but how much nail polish do you really need?

Our last stop on the samples train is Sephora. Often the section right next to the checkout is where you will find a lot of their smaller sized products for less. I’ve tried out the best products in this section.

Birchbox and Sephora are my go too for trying new products. I think it’s great to try out new product lines because you never know what you may love.

I have heard about Brichbox, but we don’t have it yet in Sweden, but I’m connected to Glossybox and it’s a great idea, even if some boxes are a bit weak. Happy Christmas to you.
