I finally managed to finish my copy of Bradstreet Gate and I’m pretty disappointed. I really thought that this book would be more of a mystery but instead it was more of a back story leading up to a mystery. At first I really started to like the book, especially when an affair between two characters develops, however it was not portrayed as the scandalous affair that it should have been.

About the book:
Set at Harvard, this story follows 3 students who knew a classmate was murdered by a professor they all came in contact with. The story goes back to the beginning to show where and what each student was doing leading up to the murder.
What did I like?
-The writing was superb and that was pretty much the only thing. Very well articulated but bordering on boring.
-The characters had potential but I feel as though they were very dry and not exploding off the page like I would have liked.
I would not recommend this book to anyone, honestly. I would love to hear if you like enjoyed this book however because maybe I have missed something. I hope to read a few more books this summer and share my reviews with you all.
