• Quick tips for a good sunscreen

I can’t believe Memorial Day is over and the unofficial start to summer has arrived!! I love summer but could do without the humidity that we get here in the Ocean State. So that being said, with the summer comes sunscreen, and remembering to apply it. As of lately I’ve become slightly obsessed with products that are good for your skin and the earth, which my wallet isn’t always happy about! But needless to say, reading the back of every label has its advantages because I do not want harmful ingredients getting into my blood stream. I have complied a list of harm ingredients that you NEED to avoid when…

  • 5 dry skin solutions

This time of year has its pro’s and con’s for me. I love the cooler weather, because that means more skinny jeans and ankle booties BUT my skin hates this weather. Everything from my forehead to my toes are AWLAYS dry. Trying to figure out what to use on my skin has been this on-going battle for many years but I am finally getting somewhere! • Summer isn’t over yet!

When it comes to summer, most people think of one thing: time in the sun! Sunscreen isn’t a beach only requirement – it is a great way to ward off wrinkles! While there are a ton of options out there not all sunscreens are created equal. Finding an efficient sunscreen includes multiple factors and I’ve complied them here for you! Make sure you are using enough SPF. Dermatologists recommend SPF 30 – anything higher doesn’t really do much for you. You will also want to make sure that your sunscreen is broad spectrum which means it protects skin from both UVA and UVB rays. Stay away from sprays and powders.…

I can’t believe that I am leaving for my European vacation in 2 days–this trip was booked back in January, so to say I have been waiting a while is an understatement. Just last night I finally started packing and trying to figure out what is going in my carryon. I have about 9hrs of travel time ahead of me on Thursday + one day….yikes! Since I have an overnight flight, I wanted to make sure that I was going to be as comfortable as possible. I’m hoping to catch some zzzzzz’s with my eye mask, neck pillow, and ear plugs. I’m debating on whether or not to bring a…
