• December blog challenge day 8: Blog Favorites

    Look at me blogging again with this challenge! I’m on a roll so lets just keep things going. It’s often hard to stay motivated, but what usually helps me is seeing my blogging peers posting on Facebook and Instagram (that reminds me to get at it)! I’m not sure where we would be without the support of peers in general. We need them for work and for life as a whole. Blogging is no different, so that’s why today’s topic is pretty cool, because it allows me to give some important shout outs! • December blog challenge day 6: a day off

    Of course I’m a day or two late with this challenge but better late than never. Anyways, a pretty terrible cold has taken over my body, even as I type this I am still feeling a bit “off”. Which I guess is almost perfect because it goes along with today’s topic… Today’s topic, my ideal day off, has good timing because I have found myself on a two week Christmas vacation! So anyways, my ideal day off would look something like this… Wake up around 10 or 11 Go out to brunch with Chris (yes with mimosas) Find a few outlets to go shopping at (assuming I have money) Redbox…

  • December Blog Challenge Day 4: My Advice to you

    I’m running a few days behind here and sort of picking and choosing what posts I want to include in this blog challenge. I love the idea of a blog challenge things are just getting a bit crazy around here! So needless to say, giving advice is one of my specialities, hence going to school to be a therapist. So today’s topic, is one that I feel pretty good about but yet was having trouble coming up with something. The best piece of advice I could give someone? Life’s short, drink the vodka Now you may be saying that is an awfully strange piece of advice but the truth of…

    At the beginning of the year I wrote a post about some of my favorite blogs. It’s no secret that I use Bloglovin’ to keep track of all my favorite blogs, so pulling from that I would like to share with you who I am following as of lately and more importantly engaging with. At least I like to think I am!   • The Lady Project Summit {in review}

    This past weekend was my very first Lady Project Summit. Only registering three weeks prior I was very unsure and nervous about what to expect. I have been to other conferences but this one seemed different. First of all I didn’t know ANYONE. Usually I try to find a few people via Twitter or Facebook to connect with prior to showing up but this time I had only been in contact with 1 person from Twitter. I didn’t even end up meeting up with her till around lunch time. Regardless, I paid for my ticket, and since it was being held in Providence (10 minutes from my house) I figured…

  • Something Old & Something New Blogger Swap

    Happy Monday everyone. As you might have noticed this is not part of my blogging challenge that apparently I just didn’t last with. It’s been a crazy few weeks already and I just don’t have time to commit to the prompts and to be honest I was getting a little sick of some of them! So that brings me to this post that I am SUPER excited about! Throughout my blogging career I have seen other bloggers link up and send each other letters, mugs, and boxes full of surprises; it got me thinking that something along those ideas seemed really fun! This past Christmas, my mom’s work did something…
