• December blog challenge day 8: Blog Favorites

Look at me blogging again with this challenge! I’m on a roll so lets just keep things going. It’s often hard to stay motivated, but what usually helps me is seeing my blogging peers posting on Facebook and Instagram (that reminds me to get at it)! I’m not sure where we would be without the support of peers in general. We need them for work and for life as a whole. Blogging is no different, so that’s why today’s topic is pretty cool, because it allows me to give some important shout outs! • December blog challenge day 7: Holiday Traditions

Happy Holidays,  Holy crap, where has the time gone?! I think every time I sit down to write for this challenge I am suddenly overwhelmed because I have missed a few days! The holidays have been crazy, as I’m sure they have with you as well. There are so many things that take place this time of year, it often makes me nuts but yet really bask in all the traditions that have been made/new ones that have been started. The topic of traditions has been one that seems to have changed a lot for me over the years. The traditions we once had don’t seem to be happening much…

  • December blog challenge day 6: a day off

Of course I’m a day or two late with this challenge but better late than never. Anyways, a pretty terrible cold has taken over my body, even as I type this I am still feeling a bit “off”. Which I guess is almost perfect because it goes along with today’s topic… Today’s topic, my ideal day off, has good timing because I have found myself on a two week Christmas vacation! So anyways, my ideal day off would look something like this… Wake up around 10 or 11 Go out to brunch with Chris (yes with mimosas) Find a few outlets to go shopping at (assuming I have money) Redbox…

  • December Blog Challenge day 5: Clothing or Accessories?

So as you know I’m always about a day late with this challenge. This weekend was filled with lots of traveling to NJ and then deciding to visit Philly (one more time)–we had a great time, just didn’t leave too much room to blog yesterday. Needless to say, here we are and are trying to get back at it. Not only do I need to get my blogging back into shape but also my eating. I hate falling “off the wagon” on the weekends, especially when I do so good during the week. Oh well…. Today’s topic,  (I’m still not sure if I’m happy with my answer), choosing just 1…

  • December Blog Challenge Day 4: My Advice to you

I’m running a few days behind here and sort of picking and choosing what posts I want to include in this blog challenge. I love the idea of a blog challenge things are just getting a bit crazy around here! So needless to say, giving advice is one of my specialities, hence going to school to be a therapist. So today’s topic, is one that I feel pretty good about but yet was having trouble coming up with something. The best piece of advice I could give someone? Life’s short, drink the vodka Now you may be saying that is an awfully strange piece of advice but the truth of…

  • December Blog Challenge day 3: holiday outfit

While I may be a day late on this blog challenge, I am very excited to share with you one of my favorite looks I have put together this year! My work holiday party was this past weekend and my outfit definitely was well received! So what did I wear? Well for as long as I can remember I have been pinning pins on Pinterest in hopes to someday be able to pull off this look–thinking my holiday party was the perfect time, I decided to jump on the tulle skirt band-wagon. Getting the tulle skirt was easy and then trying to pair it with a low-key top was the…

  • December Blog Challenge day 2: a day in the life of…

Whew! Today was seriously NUTS and welcome to the 2nd day of our December Blog Challenge! Today’s topic, ‘a day in the life of’ is quite fitting because you wouldn’t believe the day I had. I usually start my days very similar, waking up at 7am, allowing 1hr to get myself showered, dressed and out of the house. My school starts at 9am and I have morning supervision duty that I cover from 8:25-9am. Today started the same until around 9:30. I have a student that is visually impaired and who happens to be a refugee from a small camp in Africa, so small in fact that only a handful…
