    I can’t believe this weekend is the beginning of October–how quickly is this school year is going by?! So anyways, with October approaching, some of my favorite fall activities can finally be done! This weekend I’m not doing a whole lot; my second job starts this weekend (tutoring) and then it will probably be spent doing more homework. So as you can see, nothing too exciting going on here.   • Waffle Maker French Toast

    I’ve always seen the different types of food that could be cooked in a waffle maker but up until now, the only thing I made was waffles. This weekend in New Jersey, I made soup (recipe to come) but I bought bread to have with it. We hardly ever buy bread, mainly because I can’t control myself (true story). So needless to say there was leftover bread on Saturday morning. Leftover bread was the perfect excuse to try making french toast in my waffle maker. The result? AMAZING!     This weekend was pretty good until it started raining cats and dogs on Sunday. Although the rain didn’t ruin my weekend too much because on Sunday I woke up feeling really awful, as in the start of a cold was brewing.
