New year, new glambag from Ipsy. Yesterday I received my second Ipsy bag since subscribing. While it has been nice getting samples in the mail each month, I decided to unsubscribe for a little while. I tend to do that with these type of things. I used Birchbox for a few months and then again with Ipsy. I will say that out of the two, Ipsy is probably my favorite. I canceled for two reasons; one being the money and two I’m just about set with new makeup for awhile. If you wear it everyday I can see keeping the subscription but for someone like me it just goes unused.

Anyways, I wanted to share with you my bag this month, in case any of you are thinking about subscribing. Okay so here we go!

I love when this comes in the mail!

Taking a peek!
Taking a peek!

1. Eco-Beauty by La Fresh Group

good day. day moisturizer (just like the name says but a little too light for winter)

2. (Malin + Goetz) mojito lip balm

-I haven’t tried this out yet, waiting for a cold to go away. Smells really good though!

3. Manna Sheer Glo shimmer lotion

-I will be trying this out on Sunday when I have a baby shower to attend, can’t wait to put on some makeup!

4. Hikari (eye liner)

-I have sooooo many eye liners right now that I think I’m going to wait a bit to use this.

5. Pacifica (eye shadow)

-This looks like a really great color (sand), again I will most likely save this considering I just recived a few new pallettes for Christmas.

All in all it was actually a really great bag! Come the spring and summer I will most likely sign up again to get some new colors to play with! If you received your Ipsy bag this month, hope it was great!

xoxo Lindsay

I have heard about Birchbox – but we don’t have it over here. But I subscribe on Glossybox, the same concept.

I have never heard of Glossybox but it sounds like the glambag! Birchbox isn’t really worth it in my opinion.

Very cool! I’ve seen ipsy, but wasn’t sure about it. I subscribe to Birchbox and Allure’s Sample Society, so I’m not on the hunt for more subscription boxes, but I love the idea that you get a little makeup bag each month with ipsy. That’s very cool! Thanks for sharing! 🙂

I wasn’t too impressed with Birchbox. I would like to look into Allures Sample Society tho!
